As a former firefighter, line officer, and command officer, Greg has tremendous respect for all the responsibility that officers in the fire service face each shift. It’s important that officers know what their role is in human resource compliance given they are often the first to be in a position to recognize various needs.  Our HR 101 course for Fire Officers focuses on the basics of FMLA, FLSA, Harassment & Discrimination, Performance Appraisal and Feedback, Performance Management and the Role of Disciplinary Action, and Difficult Conversations.  While we specifically mention fire departments, this training is valuable for supervisors in law enforcement and other public safety agencies.

We’re happy to come to your department to present to your officers or for a multi-department training. In addition, Greg has frequently presented this training in Fire Officer courses at regional and state fire schools.  Generally, classes should not be larger than 20 students to allow for proper feedback and interaction.
